The unit fills and enters heat mode at about room temp. Only heats a few degrees to about 75 degrees and then proceeds to stay there. Tried a few remedies with no luck.

We have seen this a few times before. Sounds like a defective Solid State Relay (heater). Your unit has three relays. This is the one above the axial fan and below the ADJUNC 3 board.
The Tuttnauer Technical Manual has a test procedure. Save your time and replace the relay.
This relay controls the heaters.
